Game Review

Recently, I've been playing a new game.
It's called "Gravitee 2". You can play it for free online.

(Goal of the Game)

You have to throw a small white ball from one planet to other planets and hit targets
(green point balls or go through hoops) to get points. The gravity of the planets will
affect the ball so, you have to consider many things when you throw it.

My First move

I got 6 hits & more hits on it.

The game soon becomes more difficult

(Pros + and Cons -)

(+) The gravity is very real, so players can learn a little about astro-physics.
(+) The game is hard to master, but very easy to play...just click and adjust power and angle.
(+) It becomes difficult gradually, also there is a medal system, bronze is enough to pass a level.

(-) the game doesn't remember the power and angle of your throws, so it's hard to correct.
(-) this game is quite repetitive, the replay value is not so high.

(Rating)

I give this game 8 / 10,
I would recommend it for those who are interested in space.
You can always teach younger players about gravity using this game.

Today, I've played a great game.

It's free and it's also great for learning about bridges.

Unfortunately, my bridge only lasted 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

My research topic: Ice cream
Target : Japanese University students
Number of respondents : (110)

(Summary) Students answered 6 questions about ice cream.

(Questions and analysis)

#1

I knew that vanilla would be very popular.
I was surprised that Macha was so popular too.
I think it's popular in Japan.

My personal favorite is Haagen Dazs, but aren't many shops in Japan.
So, I was surprised that it was almost as popular as Baskin Robbins 31.
Convenience stores were also popular and got 3rd place.

Because the respondents were students I was expecting the cheap option to be more popular.
I was surprised to see the mid-ranged price was virtually equal to the cheaper ice cream choice.
Some quality of ice cream is also important to students.

I think that most people want to eat it everyday but we some people might think that it's not healthy. So as I thought, most students answered the several times a week/month choices.

I was surprised by the number of great ideas for new names.
Choosing a new name for a product or store is very important.
I think that having surveys or contests for choosing names are important.

This is a very important question because most people like ice cream but try not to eat too much because it's seen as being unhealthy. This survey enabled to learn more about students' perspective.

(CONCLUSION)

I enjoyed organizing this survey and I was often surprised of the results.
I think ice creams companies in Japan would be very interested to see the results.
Especially if they want to sell more ice cream to Japanese university students.

My Invention

The Cheaper Iphone
"Gara-Wifi-Ipod"

(Original Problem & Idea / Solution)

Everyone knows having an Iphone and an internet data plan for an Iphone can be quite expensive. Actually, a two-year contract for an Iphone and unlimited internet can cost as much as 168000 yen (7000 yen /month x 24).

My Invention which I've named the "Gara-Wifi-Ipod" combines two products with widely available wifi to enable you to save lots of money.

(Specifics)

・Purchase a new Gara-kei phone about 7000 yen & Softbank's white plan 36000 yen (1500 yen /month x 24).
・Purchase an Ipod touch (It's an Iphone without a phone included) for 20800 yen (16GB model).
・Use the wifi in your home or around you (at your work/school, in shops/restaurants) for unlimited internet.
・You can tie them together or stick the two together if you want. We sell these for 4200 yen.
・Although they will use up more space in your pocket, carrying them together is not a problem.

Total price : 63800 yen + 4200 yen (customized rubber band ) = 68000 yen
Total savings: You will save 100000 yen in just two years and much more in the future.

(Summary)

Nowadays at your office at work, in schools, in homes, and in shops wifi is freely available. There is no need to buy an expensive package plan for a smartphone. Our alternative will save you 100000 yen in two years and much more in the future. Moreover, our rubber bands are the most fashionable items for your "Gara-Wifi-Ipod".

Shure PG42 USB Microphone Review

(Overview)

The Shure PG42 condenser microphone is a semi-professional voice/sound recorder.
It's quality tuned for voice recording, although it can also handle sound/music recordings.
The retail price for the PG42 is around 25,000 yen.

(Features)

・Large diaphragm with great range.
・Pure USB microphone, therefore no XLR/USB converter is required.
・15dB on/off attenuator for low noise reduction
・High pass filtering on/off switch for high noise reduction.

(Pros and Cons)

(+) Works great with all OS systems (Windows, Mac)
(+) Has a professional high quality case.
(+) Adjustable for both low/high noise reduction but a silent room is always best.
(+) Very easy to use with a computer (plug and play).
(+) Durable and reliable.

(-) The price is a little higher than other similar quality condenser microphone models.
(-) Doesn't come with a microphone stand, so you'll need to get one or do without.
(-) Not portable, you should use it indoors in a quiet room.

(Rating)

I give this microphone a score of 9 / 10.

I think this a great microphone for someone who wants to have a semi-serious YOUTUBE Channel or Podcast. Although the price is a little higher than other similar products, it works great with both Mac and Windows, and it comes in a professional carrying case.
